Organised by the Asian Association for Emergency Medical Services (AAEMS), Section of EMS Physicians (SEMSP) under the College of Emergency Physicians and Academy of Medicine of Singapore, the 8th edition of EMS Asia 2026 is the region's foremost international conference for Prehospital and Emergency Medical Services.
The 3 day conference is aimed at sharing and discussion of the best and current practices among Emergency Medical Services (EMS) across Asia. This includes Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and Community First Responders who are involved in delivering Prehospital and Emergency Medical Care.
The MCQ Examiners’ Course for Specialist Examinations, taking place on 16 May 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the SGH Department of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine Building, Level 5.
This course will cover key aspects of MCQ assessment, including blueprinting, creating single-best-answer questions, standard setting, and post exam analysis, with hands on practice incorporated throughout.

The College held its 3rd College of Emergency Physicians’ Lecture & Dinner this year to highlight important issues and learning points in emergency care to the members of the profession. This event was held at the Banquet Suite, M Hotel, Level 10, Singapore on Wednesday, 2 November 2022. The appointed Lecturer was Professor Goh Siang Hiong, formerly President of the College of Emergency Physicians, who is also Senior Consultant at the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Changi General Hospital. The title of his lecture was ‘Lessons Learnt from the Pandemic’.
